Heads up on turbo oil leaks, my rig almost ran away. Found it by looking for fresh drips after a hot run.

My old diesel never leaked, but this POST has me second-guessing.

No leaks can mean the seals dried out and shrank. That’s sometimes worse than a slow seep. You get no warning before a big failure. A tiny weep at a valve cover tells you the gasket is still soft and doing its job. Bone dry isn’t always the goal on an old motor.
