Appreciation post: Twitter's community notes actually changed my stance on moderation

I used to think any content moderation was just censorship until I saw community notes fact-check a viral post about vaccines from my own feed last week. The crowdsourced approach with citations felt way more fair than a company just deleting stuff. Has anyone else seen these notes actually change how you view a post?

Man, yeah. I was one of those people who thought fact-checking was just another way to silence people. But a community note popped up on a tweet about ivermectin and it linked to actual CDC data, not some random blog. It didn't delete the tweet, it just added context. That's way better than a company deciding what's true for everyone.

Does a system that just adds more info without deleting anything actually count as censorship? I used to think any moderation was bad but seeing notes with actual source links changed my mind pretty quick. It feels different when the crowd does the fact checking instead of some corporate team.
