Neglect isn't the win, Denver winter just has less light.

Found basically the same thing in my last rental, except they used duct tape and the hose was kinked so bad it had a permanent crease. Dryer took like 3 cycles to dry a small load and the lint trap was always spotless, which should've been my first clue something was real wrong. Landlord tried to tell me it was fine too, but I just fixed it myself and kept the receipt. That cheap fix saved me from a potential fire hazard and honestly a month of utility bills through the roof. Some people really out here treating safety like it's optional decor.

Newark huh, that airport alone is enough to make you miss flights on purpose lol. But 3:47am is such a specific time, I'm amazed your phone just said nah not today. I had a similar thing happen with a 4:15am alarm for a fishing trip, woke up at 7am staring at my phone like it betrayed me. That old clock you got sounds like a tank, mine was a little Casio from 2018 that still works even after I dropped it in a cup of coffee. I swear these smart alarms have some kind of vendetta against early mornings, they just give up when the sun's not up.
