My Substack post got flagged for a word I did not use

Wrote a piece last Tuesday about public school funding in Texas, nothing wild. Hit publish and Substack's AI auto flagged it for hate speech. I checked their report and it said I used a racial slur, but the word was 'cracker' as in a cheese cracker in a lunch story. Took 3 days of appealing to get them to fix it. Has anyone else had their auto moderation bots completely miss the context of a word?

Yeah that happened to me back in March, Substack flagged a post for "homophobic language" because I used the word "queer" in a discussion about historical reclamation of the term. Took me four days of back and forth with support before someone finally looked at it manually and apologized.

Dealt with the exact same thing @christopherw34, had to screenshot a dictionary definition and email it to them. Next time skip the support ticket and message them on Twitter, way faster response. Their automated system is useless for anything with nuance.
