Client in Fort Worth kept asking for 'more pop' on every revision - what did he actually mean?

Well, I'll tell you what, this got me thinking. That "more pop" talk usually means contrast and saturation, sure, but maybe it's about movement. A lot of folks don't realize that the human eye is drawn to things that look like they're about to change or shift. So instead of just cranking up the colors, you could try adding a subtle gradient or a slight blur effect on something in the background. That way the main part still looks sharp and lively, but it feels like it's breathing or moving just a bit. That might be the "pop" he was after without knowing how to say it.

I read somewhere that 'more pop' is one of those vague client phrases that usually means they want more contrast, either in color or brightness. Sounds like your Fort Worth guy wanted the design to practically jump off the screen, you know? Maybe he was trying to describe a feeling he couldn't put into words, like wanting it to feel more energetic or punchy. Next time I'd try bumping up the saturation and sharpening the edges a bit, that usually does the trick for people who say that.

Read somewhere that 'more pop' almost always means higher contrast or saturation.
