My fitness routine fell apart after three months on the road

Honestly, I've been bouncing between Southeast Asia for work, and my usual gym sessions have completely slipped. Tbh, finding affordable drop-in rates or decent equipment has been a nightmare. Ngl, I'm starting to feel the effects on my energy levels. Any tips for staying fit without a fixed location?

Scout out local parks for outdoor workout stations, they're more common than you'd think in many cities. A travel yoga mat takes up no space and lets you do bodyweight circuits anywhere quiet. This approach turned my layovers into active recovery sessions and saved me a fortune on gym fees.

That's one way to ensure your travel memories include more than just airport carpets. I can imagine the peaceful serenity of a bodyweight circuit interrupted by duck attacks. Ever had a squirrel judge your form?

Lucas is right about parks, but those outdoor calisthenics stations are way less common in Southeast Asia than in Europe or the States. I wasted hours looking for them in Bangkok and Hanoi. A set of resistance bands is a better investment than a yoga mat, honestly; you can anchor them in a hotel door for a real pull session.

Actually, @lucasw57, I've found that empty stairwells in hotels are perfect for circuits when parks aren't available!
