Hate to break it to you, but they make it hard on purpose. They hope you'll just give up.

Actually, it's worse than that. They're mapping where exactly people fail so they can make the process more annoying, not easier. Every time you get stuck and quit, you're just giving them free data on where to put the next roadblock.
