Why does nobody talk about mounting a camera at the exact height of a raccoon's reach

I rigged up a bird feeder cam last spring using a cheap Wyze cam and some PVC pipe, and after 4 months of watching raccoons knock it down at 3am I finally moved the mount 8 inches higher and haven't had a single false alert since, anyone else deal with critter sabotage on their outdoor cams?

Haha dude same here, moved my cam up two feet and the raccoons just gave up immediately.

Wait, two feet? That's all it took? I threw a whole tree branch at mine and they still figured out a way around it.
