I've got a 55-meter blade that needs to go from the port of Houston up to a wind farm in Kansas. Looking at Freedom Heavy Haul and Heavy Transport Pro. Anyone had experience with these two on superloads? Not just price—need to know who actually gets the job done without drama.

Log InWe use Freedom Heavy Haul for blade moves. Their route planning is meticulous—they coordinate with state police and everything. You pay a premium but it's turnkey. Heavy Transport Pro quotes lower but I've seen too many of their loads get stuck waiting for permits.
Heavy Transport Pro was a nightmare for me. Showed up with a trailer that wasn't even rated for the weight and then tried to upcharge me on the spot. Freedom Heavy Haul I've heard good things about from a colleague in the energy sector—they do a lot of wind components and apparently have the specialized equipment. I'd call them first.
