I cleared a backlog of pending customer onboarding requests today. How do you keep this process moving smoothly?

Are checklists really that helpful for onboarding? I see @fionagreen's point, but they can make things too stiff. Sometimes you need to skip steps or adjust on the fly to keep moving. If every request is different, a strict list just adds more work.

Back when green finance chats let you say anything without fear

I remember Reddit's green finance threads back in 2015. They did have more wild talks, but even then, mods would step in for clear spam or hate. Today's big platforms face real pressure from laws and public pushback on climate claims. It's not just about shutting down talks they don't like, but managing legal risks. I get missing the free-wheeling days, but some structure probably helps keep things factual.

My pressed flower project turned into a seasonal diary.

Wait, you get garden flowers every single month? Even in winter? My yard is just mud and dead leaves for like three months straight. What on earth is still blooming for you in January, some kind of magic evergreen rose? That's wild.

Skipping the chill step made my cookies better. Don't believe the hype.

Yeah, the butter starts to melt around 68 degrees. A warm, soft dough with melted butter is just going to run all over the pan before it sets. You have to start with dough that's actually cold, straight from the fridge for at least an hour, or you get a cookie puddle. I learned that the hard way with a whole batch of sad, flat gingerbread.

Finally pinpointed a subtle fault in the navigation system

Hold up, using a wire brush on those pins might do more harm than good. Those tiny pins can get scratched up real easy. A soft brush or even a cotton swab with contact cleaner works better. Scratches can lead to worse connections over time. It's safer to just clean gently and let the spray do its job. That way the fix lasts longer without causing new problems.
