keeps a jar of pickled eggs from 2019" - that is a war crime in fridge form. 2019 eggs? Those are basically science experiments now. They're probably evolving into a new life form at this point. I'd rather eat gas station sushi than touch that jar. Someone needs to stage an intervention before the whole fridge gets contaminated.

2019 pickled eggs are a biological hazard at this point. I had a roommate in 2021 who kept pickled eggs from 2020, and the brine had turned this weird cloudy color with stuff floating on top. We had to throw out the whole fridge because the smell got into the plastic. Tell Riley that pickled eggs last maybe a year in the fridge if you're lucky, but 2019 is way past the danger zone.

Has anyone asked Riley what they think is actually gonna happen with those eggs? Like are they saving them for a special occasion or just waiting to see if they turn into something magical?
