Hot take: cutting dairy cleared up my hormonal acne but I wasn't ready for the headaches

I stopped eating cheese and milk for 30 days and my skin broke out less but I got these brutal migraines for two weeks straight, has anyone else dealt with that trade off?

Question whether cutting dairy actually caused your headaches or if you were just looking for something to blame. I cut dairy for a month and didn't get any migraines, just missed pizza. You probably had a different trigger like stress or sleep changes during that month. It's way too easy to pin everything on one food group when you're trying to feel better. Headaches happen to everyone for tons of reasons, not just cheese. Maybe give dairy another try and see if the headaches actually come back before you make it a big deal.

Oh man, gotta love when someone says "just try it again and see what happens" like that's some kind of scientific breakthrough. Right because nothing says fun like voluntarily giving yourself a splitting headache just to prove a point. I mean sure maybe it wasn't the dairy but after a year of no migraines Im not exactly lining up for a blind taste test with a block of cheddar. And the whole "you probably changed something else" argument yeah no kidding thats how life works. You change one thing and suddenly youre sleeping better or stressing less or who knows what else. But if cutting out cheese worked for me Im not gonna second guess it just because some stranger on the internet thinks pizza is more important than a clear head.

Wait, @pat_stone, if cutting dairy gave you a year without migraines, why would you risk that for a slice of pizza? I get the skepticism but results are results, and your head is the one dealing with the pain.
