PSA: Changing my bathroom faucet fixed my lather problems for good

I could never get a thick lather with my old sink because the water pressure was all over the place. The faucet dripped constantly and the hot water came out lukewarm. After putting it off for months, I finally bought a basic new faucet at the store. It took me about an hour to install it with help from a friend's video. Now the water runs strong and gets properly hot right away. My shaving soap whips up into a rich, creamy foam in seconds. My razor slides so smooth now that I don't get any razor burn. It's amazing how one small home fix made my whole shave better.

Your faucet install only took one hour.

That shut off valve under the sink is always the worst part. Had mine start a slow drip two days after a quick install because the old washer was shot. Spent another hour draining everything again to replace it. Honestly, just plan for an extra 30 minutes to check all the connections with the water pressure back on.

But how often does that actually cause a real problem? I've done a few of these and the shut-off valve is usually fine if it's not ancient. Seems like a bit of overkill to plan for extra time every time lol.

Yeah, @wyatt134, that "one hour" sounds like it came with some headaches later. I feel your pain, man.
