Compostable wrap turned my Friday shift into a slapstick routine

I got some new compostable butcher paper to reduce plastic waste. It fell apart when I wrapped a pork shoulder, and the meat rolled right off the table. What eco-friendly stuff do you use that actually works?

Mine never falls apart, could be you need a different brand.

Yeah, the brand really does make all the difference, @logan_wells... cheap stuff just crumbles no matter what you do.

What if how you store it matters more than the brand? I've had cheap stuff last forever just because it stayed dry.

Wait, does all cheap stuff really crumble no matter what? I mean, I've definitely seen some cheap brands that surprise you by lasting. Maybe it's just me, but idk, how you use it seems to make a big difference. Like, I remember getting a no-name version once and it was totally fine as long as I didn't throw it around.
