Rhinoplasty at 38, now I miss my old nose. Did anyone else feel this way?

Oh man, I'm right there with you. I had mine done at 40 after breaking it playing basketball (my face met someone's elbow, it was ugly). For the first six months I kept looking in the mirror like "who is this person?" and actually missed that little bump I used to have. Now three years later I'm used to it, but every once in a while a photo catches me off guard and I feel a little pang of weirdness.
