That one week in March where every pothole on Maple Street somehow got filled in two days
I drove to school all five days without hitting a single one and honestly it felt like the universe was playing a prank on me because now three of them are already back after last week's rain.
Is it just me or does this kind of thing happen with everything that's supposed to be a quick fix? Like my landlord "fixing" the sink by shoving a coat hanger in it and calling it good for three months. You know they're gonna slap some cheap patch on there and call it a day so the city can say they did something, then wait for it to fall apart again before the next inspection rolls around. lmao
