Skeptical about cheap brake ducts until I saw a 2 second drop in my lap times at Road Atlanta after 3 sessions
Always thought spending $40 on some plastic dryer hose and zip ties was a joke compared to $400 dedicated kits, but after watching my front rotors stop glazing on hot days I'm wondering if the expensive stuff is mostly marketing hype or if there's a real difference I'm missing when it comes to heat management.

My buddy Mike ran those cheap dryer hose ducts on his E36 M3 for two seasons at VIR and his rotors looked fine. He finally splurged on a proper kit last year and said the difference was basically zero for his skill level.
