Showerthought: That patch of wall by the bus stop has the best graffiti light
I pass this bus stop every day on my way to the store. There's a section of wall covered in colorful spray paint. For weeks, I noticed how the afternoon sun makes the colors pop. Yesterday, I decided to stop and take some pictures. A kid was sketching in a notebook right in front of it. I got a shot of his shadow falling across the art. It came out so much better than I expected. Feels good to find beauty in ordinary spots.

Seriously? Why do people make such a big deal about noticing ordinary stuff? It's just a wall with some old spray paint that the sun hits. People take a picture of a shadow and act like they discovered some deep truth. It's a bus stop, not an art gallery.
