I finally visited a local currency exchange and saw why they fail

Went to the BerkShares exchange in Great Barrington last weekend, figured it'd be buzzing with locals. Place was dead quiet, maybe 5 people came in during my hour there. The exchange rate was 95 cents to the dollar, which just seems like a raw deal for anyone trying to support the idea. If we're serious about resetting money, don't we need something that doesn't punish you for using it?

95 cents to the dollar" isn't quite right, it's actually 95 cents per 100.
