Picked the 5G home internet over cable and now I'm not so sure
I went with T-Mobile's $50 plan last month instead of sticking with Comcast, and my connection drops for 5 seconds every night around 8 PM. Anyone else notice your cellular home internet gets flaky during peak hours?

That "five seconds every night" thing is maddening. @evahenderson hit it - seems like a lot of people get that exact drop around peak times. I read somewhere that the towers just get overloaded when everyone's home streaming and gaming, so it's probably not a loose cable or anything you can fix yourself.

Oh man, my buddy switched and his cuts out every night right when he's gaming.

Ngl, that "cuts out every night" part hits hard. I had a buddy who went through the same thing with his service. He'd be in the middle of a ranked match and boom, gone. He tried everything, reset the router, called support, even switched providers twice. Turned out the issue was a loose cable outside his house that the tech never tightened properly. Took him three months and five service calls to figure it out. Honestly, sometimes it's the dumbest little thing and they just won't admit it.
