My phone updated last night and now the alarm doesn't make any sound

I slept through my 7am meeting because this latest patch somehow killed the ringer completely. Has anyone else had their Samsung do this after the One UI 6.1 update?

The DND schedule thing is definitely worth checking but it's not universal - my S22 update didn't touch my DND settings at all and the alarms still work fine. Could just be a specific glitch with certain carrier firmware or something.

My S22 did the exact same thing after the One UI 6.1 update last week. The fix nobody's talking about is checking your "Do Not Disturb" schedule settings. Samsung changed how DND works in this update so it now overrides your alarm volume even when you didn't turn it on manually. Go into Settings and look for "Modes and Routines" or just search for "Do Not Disturb" in the settings bar. Make sure alarms are set to "Allow Priority" or whatever they call it now. I bet that's your problem because the update reset my DND schedule to start at 10pm every night without asking me.

Hmm but I've had my S22 for over a year and the 6.1 update didn't mess with my DND at all. I actually went in and checked after seeing people talk about it because I was curious, and my schedule was exactly where I left it. The alarm still goes off no problem, DND or not. I think Samsung might have fixed that in a later patch or something, because it's not a universal bug. Maybe your phone just had a glitch that needed a reset or a cache wipe instead of blaming the whole update.
