Lost my favorite necklace at the Denver art museum last Saturday
I was looking at some old photography exhibit and it must have slipped off. Spent an hour retracing my steps and even asked the front desk, but nobody turned it in. Has anyone else lost something small like jewelry in a busy public place and actually gotten it back?

The Denver Art Museum has a solid lost and found system, I've actually had a friend retrieve an earring there a few years back. Not everyone is a finders keepers type so it might still show up if you check back in a week or two.

Wait you lost it at the old photography exhibit and nobody turned it in? Man that's rough, I feel like jewelry usually gets snatched up the second it hits the floor.

And honestly most people don't even bother turning stuff in to the lost and found these days, they just figure finders keepers and pocket whatever they pick up. Probably sat there for like 5 minutes before someone grabbed it.
