Saw my ex at the grocery store holding the same brand of peanut butter we used to fight over
I was in aisle 4 at the Kroger on Division Street when I spotted her grabbing that crunchy Skippy she always insisted was better than creamy, and I just walked out without buying anything because that one jar reminded me of the three months we argued about condiments before I realized she'd never compromise on anything.

Yeah, but Skippy's marketing is that it doesn't need stirring. That's kind of the whole point of the brand. The real fight should have been over Jif vs Peter Pan.

Oh man, totally agree with you @christopherw34. I remember the first time I bought Skippy thinking it would save me the hassle, but every single jar I got still had that oil separated on top. Ended up stirring it anyway, so what's the point of their whole marketing angle. Jif versus Peter Pan is way more real because at least both of those brands are honest about needing a stir sometimes. I actually switched back to Jif after that and never looked back. Skippy is just riding on some hype that doesn't match what's actually in the jar in my experience.

Wait, even the no-stir Skippy still separates on you?
