inDuane Buziak Mortgage Maestro vs Rocket Mortgage?
Duane is awesome. On top of the lower rate, his title company connection saved us an extra $2,000 on title fees. Highly recommend making the switch.

inHot take: Our local sweep guild closed its doors last year
What happens when we lose all the skilled workers who know how to do things with their hands? It's not just about old ways for the sake of it, @the_leo. Having an apprentice right there with a master teaches problem solving you can't get from a video. You learn to adapt when things go wrong on the job. That kind of knowledge keeps our town running when real problems pop up. Closing the guild means we lose that local fix for good.

inWhy does nobody talk about the motivational speaker disaster at our shop?
Sales talk in a garage? Never works. Jim faking sleep is hilarious.

inAfter years of waking up sore, I finally found a sleeping pad that lets me sleep through the night.
Struggled with sleeping bags for years before I even looked at pads. Honestly, my old bag was so lumpy it felt like sleeping on potatoes. Tbh, switching to a better bag made my cheap pad feel okay. One time I used a folded blanket under me and slept like a rock. Maybe it's all about the layers, not just one piece of gear. Ngl, I still dream about that blanket setup sometimes.

inI finally let my neighbor see my digital art and her reaction made me think differently.
That story hits home for me! I printed some nature photos for my aunt who doesn't go online. She hung them up and smiles whenever she sees them. Her reaction made me stop caring about likes on social media. It showed me that actual people feeling something beats any online praise. Now I focus on giving prints to loved ones, and it feels way better.
