My AI assistant crashed during a client demo in Chicago last month
It was supposed to summarize a 50-page report but just froze, so I had to talk through the data myself. Has anyone else had a major AI fail in a high-pressure situation and how did you recover?

Oof, the frozen demo in Chicago sounds rough. I had a chatbot for customer service just start giving nonsense answers during a live test with the whole team watching. I just had to shut it down fast and say we were running a "classic human interaction" drill as a joke, then took over manually. It was so awkward.

That "classic human interaction" cover story is genius, gotta remember that one. My worst demo had a voice assistant start reading out error logs full of swear words some dev left in the code. The client just sat there stone-faced while it yelled profanities about database failures.
