Stumbled onto a crazy simple prompt trick that saved my team hours

I was getting fed up with our AI slapping out generic marketing copy that all sounded the same. After 3 weeks of tweaking prompts with zero luck, I tried something dumb: I just told it to 'write like a tired dad at 2 AM' as a base tone. It worked way better than any complex instruction I ever gave it. Has anyone else found a weird shortcut like that for getting more natural output?

Three weeks of tweaking prompts and you landed on "tired dad" - sounds like your team's brainstorming sessions were already running on 2 AM energy by that point. Maybe next time try "overcaffeinated intern" and see if it writes about 37 different topics at once.

That just sounds like you're letting the machine half-ass its work instead of actually teaching it to write well.
