That one comment about my AI art prompt lengths really stung

I was sharing some landscape generations I made on Midjourney in a Discord group a few weeks back. Someone just said my prompts were way too long and I was overcomplicating things. I got defensive at first but then I tried using just 5 words instead of my usual paragraph and the outputs were way cleaner and closer to what I wanted. Has anyone else found that simple short prompts work better for certain styles or am I just late to this?

Makes sense honestly... everything these days seems to be shrinking down to its simplest form, like nobody has the patience for more than a few words at a time.

Honestly, it's kinda sad but true. Ngl, feels like we're all just running on fumes these days and nobody's got the energy for anything deep anymore.
