Finally got through a full week without a single snag on the 737 avionics bay
After three straight weeks of chasing intermittent faults and bad grounds, I actually closed out all my squawks by midday Thursday and spent Friday just organizing my toolbox and shooting the breeze with the line guys has anyone else had a run of luck that felt too good to be true?

Did a buddy of yours have a stretch like that? Mine spent four days twiddling his thumbs after a clean week then got hit with a cracked heatshield on Friday at 4pm.

Know exactly what you mean, Tessa. Had a buddy over at the regional line who went nine whole shifts without a single writeup, then got hit with a main wheel well fire seal failure on a Friday right at shift change. Took him three hours past quitting time to get it signed off. Something about the weekend coming always seems to wake up the gremlins.

Holding my breath through the entire second half of the week is basically my new cardio routine. Turned down two offers to grab lunch outside the hangar because I was positive something was lurking in the avionics bay just waiting for me to walk away. At this point I'm half convinced the gremlins just took a long weekend and I'll find ten new faults waiting for me Monday morning.
