Spent 4 hours chasing a glitch in a leaked UFO video that turned out to be a bug on my own screen
I was analyzing this clip of a supposed flying saucer over Phoenix from 2023. Kept seeing this flickering glow around the edges that looked like some kind of energy field. Tried different players, frame by frame, even ran it through a filter. Finally realized it was just a stuck pixel on my monitor. Anyone else waste time on something that obvious?

Question if it's really that serious though. A stuck pixel is a pretty easy thing to check if you just cover part of the screen with your hand first. Hard to really waste 4 hours unless you're trying to prove it's aliens real bad.

Nah man, it's wild what you can miss at first. My buddy spent like 3 hours trying to figure out why his monitor looked "off" and kept restarting his PC. Turned out it was a single stuck pixel right in the middle of the screen that was like a faint green dot. He only noticed after he moved his head at the perfect angle and saw it reflecting light weird. So yeah, sometimes it's not always as obvious as you'd think.

Yo @jessej23 you know what, I actually used to agree with that completely. Thought people just wanted something to complain about. But then I had a display with a stuck pixel that kept flashing different colors and it was way worse than I expected, took me like an hour to realize it wasn't just my eyes playing tricks.
