A guy at a rest stop outside Roswell handed me a napkin with 3 dots on it and I can't get it out of my head
This was back in October, I was driving home from a wedding in Las Cruces and pulled off at a gas station just north of Roswell around 2am because I needed coffee bad. There was one other car in the lot, and this older guy in a denim jacket was standing by the air pump even though he wasn't using it, just kind of watching the sky. I said something dumb like nice night for stargazing and he looked right at me and goes, they don't come when it's clear, they wait for the clouds. Then he pulled a napkin out of his pocket, drew three dots on it in a triangle, handed it to me, and said if you ever see these over your house do not go outside and do not take pictures. I asked him what it meant and he just got in his car and left, didn't even pump gas. I still have the napkin in my glovebox and I've never seen the pattern, but now every time it's cloudy at night I look up and my heart races a little. Has anyone else ever had a stranger just hand them something like that, or did I get played by some bored guy at a gas station?
