Drove out to Marfa last month and something felt off about the sky

I was out there for a fencing job near the Prada Marfa installation, and around 2 AM I saw a set of lights moving in a way no plane or drone should. They zigzagged then just stopped dead for about 10 seconds before blinking out. Has anyone else seen weird stuff out in West Texas?

Military's been doing secret tests out there for decades, nobody talks about it but the locals know. That sky silence you felt might be more than just coincidence.

Had a buddy from Odessa who drove out there to stargaze last spring. He called me the next morning all shook up talking about orange orbs that dipped down real low and then shot straight up faster than anything he'd ever seen. Said he packed up his telescope and drove home before sunrise because it just gave him the creeps.

Heard a similar story from a guy on a podcast who worked at McDonald Observatory. He said staff there see weird lights all the time, but they're told to just ignore it and not report anything. Supposedly the FAA logs show a ton of unexplained activity over that area, way more than any other part of Texas. Makes you wonder if your friend's hunch was right about something being watched out there.
