That night at Devil's Tower made me realize I'd been scanning the wrong part of the sky for 12 years
A park ranger pointed out a cluster of non-blinking lights near the horizon instead of overhead, and now I wonder how many craft I missed just looking straight up.

Yeah that's solid advice. For me it helped to stop looking at people's hands during conversations, that was a game changer. Kept me from getting distracted and actually hearing what they said.
