Shoutout to the anime forum that thought my trucker slang was about mecha shows

I was posting about my rig on a general chat, and someone asked if I was talking about Gundam. Ended up in a whole thread where people thought 'CB radio' was code for Code Geass. Now every time I log on, they ask for my take on mobile suit logistics. It's kind of fun, but I still don't get how they mix up diesel engines with giant robots.

That crossover confusion happens more than you'd think. Once saw a baking forum where "ship" meant character relationships, not delivery logistics. Whole thread about cinnamon rolls turned into debate over anime couples.

Overheard my buddy in a fishing forum talking about 'reeling in a big one' and the anime fans thought he meant catching a legendary Pokemon. They started debating which Poke Ball would work best for a Marlin. He had to explain he was just talking about actual fish, but now they ask him for fishing tips in Pokemon Go.

Ever notice gamers think "grinding" means in games, not coffee?

Honestly lean into it, it makes the forum way more fun. I started posting actual trucking tips but framed them like mecha piloting advice. Now we've got a whole thread on "combat logistics" that's just how to plan a long haul route.
