Warning: I tried to explain the 'End of Evangelion' plot to my mom over dinner last month and it went about as well as you'd think.
I started with the Third Impact and she just stared at me and asked if this was why I was so quiet as a teenager, lol.

It's interesting you feel that way, calebc40. My own mom was pretty hands off, which had its own problems. I had to figure out a lot of basic stuff on my own way later than I should have. A bit more guidance back then would have saved me some real headaches. I guess it's easy to see the other side as easier sometimes.
