That moment the torque screwdriver slipped and took out the control board
Was replacing a dryer drum belt in a rental unit over near Fresno and the bit slipped, stripped the screw head, and my hand slammed right into the main board. $180 part and a full afternoon to rerun the wiring. You guys got a go-to trick for getting stripped screws out of tight spots without pulling the whole unit?

Just take the L and move on. How often are you gonna be elbow deep in a dryer board again anyway, seems like a one-off thing.

Dryer boards are not a one-off thing. You get one appliance fixed, another one breaks next month. It's like owning an old car, you're always under the hood. Learning to fix this stuff once saves you five calls later.
