I read that about 40% of people delete their search history daily, which is way more than I thought
I always figured most folks just let it build up, but I saw that stat in a tech newsletter yesterday. It made me wonder if I'm being too casual about my own privacy. How often do you guys actually clear yours out?

That line about being too casual with your own privacy really hits home. I see this all the time now, like people putting tape over their laptop cameras but then posting their live location on social media all day. It feels like we pick and choose what to care about without a real plan. I clear my history maybe once a month, but it's more about my browser running slow than any smart privacy habit.

Yeah I started using a password manager last year and it made me actually think about what I was protecting. I mean before that I was just clearing cookies when sites broke, but now I have a real reason to care about my logins. It sort of forced me into better habits without it feeling like a chore.
