Stacked my telescope mount wrong, lost 3 hours of capture
Last month I drove out to the dark site near Flagstaff and spent an hour setting up my mount only to realize I'd put the counterweight on backwards, so it kept drifting every time I framed Orion... by the time I fixed it, the clouds rolled in and I packed up with zero usable frames. Now I double-check the manual before leaving the driveway, but I'm still salty about those wasted miles. Anyone else ruined a whole night with a tiny setup mistake you couldn't see until it was too late?
