Three years with the same tripod and zero complaints... maybe try a heftier model before ditching the whole setup over one hater's take.

Three years with zero complaints" is a solid run but that doesn't mean everyone's experience will match yours. Wind and uneven ground are exactly where lighter tripods show their limits, and not everyone wants to haul a heavy setup just to get stable shots. A beefier model can help, but it's not a cure all if the build quality and dampening aren't there to begin with.

Ask @cole_flores44 what specifically made them stick with their tripod through bad conditions (like wind or uneven ground) because that's usually where cheap tripods fall apart. Was it just build quality, or did they find some brand that actually holds up without going into mortgage territory? I've seen too many people claim "just get a beefier model" without realizing that still means lugging around 8 pounds of metal with no vibration dampening.
