inMet a woman at a plant swap who taught me how to propagate succulents from just one leaf
My cat ate one of my succulent leaves once. He threw it up on the carpet about three hours later. Plant is fine though, it grew roots anyway.

inThe time I caught my landlord selling my wifi data to an ad network
The timing thing is what gets me about this. Most leases auto-renew in the dead of winter, like January or February, when it's freezing outside and nobody wants to move. So even if you find this garbage in your contract, you're basically trapped for another year unless you want to break the lease and pay some ridiculous penalty. I'd bet money that's exactly why they bury this stuff in there during the coldest months on purpose.

inPSA: People are still buying sleeping bags rated for way too cold weather.
Ha, classic. @aaron_perry probably also thinks a fleece liner counts as a winter bag. It's like how people insist their car's "all season" tires are fine in snow. Technically true if you never leave the driveway. Just because you can survive the night doesn't mean you're comfortable. I'd rather carry an extra pound than wake up counting my own teeth to stay warm.

inI finally figured out why my backpacking meals were always soggy
Preheating your stove longer makes a huge difference. Boiling fast isn't the same as cooking properly.
