Hot take: I gave up on fancy wheel cleaner and now I just use a bucket of soapy water
For 5 years I bought the purple stuff at $18 a bottle and scrubbed my knuckles raw, then last month I switched to the leftover car wash soap and a soft brush and my rims look the same. Am I missing something or is wheel cleaner just marked up soap?

Dawn dish soap and a rag worked fine for me too, no complaints here.
