Just realized I've been running my sales pipeline all wrong thanks to a hot dog cart
I was standing in line at a food cart downtown last week and watched the guy work. He took orders from 3 people at once, had everything laid out so he never had to reach for anything, and served 12 people in 5 minutes. It hit me that my SaaS onboarding process is exactly like that cart but in the worst way. I have leads sitting in different stages with no clear flow, I'm hunting for info in 3 different tools, and I'm losing people because the handoff from sales to support is messy. So I mapped my whole pipeline like that cart's setup, 3 stages max with clear triggers. Cut our average close time from 22 days to 14 in the first month. Has anyone else found a weird real life example that fixed a process problem?

Foundry batching saved my team. Same principle as the cart: group similar leads and process them all at once instead of hopping between inboxes all day.

Gray875 got a good point with batching. So when you mapped your 3 stages, did you hit any wall where a lead just refused to move to the next step no matter how clean the flow was? Like I tried something similar with my own funnel and had this one type of customer that always got stuck at the second stage because they wanted a bunch of custom stuff before they'd even see a demo. Curious if you ran into that or if your leads just rolled through smooth.
