Noticed something at a client's office in Omaha last week
Tbh I was visiting a client to help with their onboarding flow and saw they had a physical whiteboard tracking every API integration status. It hit me that we've gone so far into tools like Jira and Slack that we forgot the simplest ops hack: a big visible board for the whole team. They said their deployment errors dropped 40% just because everyone finally knew who owned what. Has anyone else gone back to low-tech solutions like this for their SaaS ops and seen real results?

Oh boy, here we go again. Pretty soon we're gonna hear that someone discovered sticky notes and a wall calendar and suddenly their whole company is magically more productive. I get it, I really do, but let's not pretend this is some huge revelation. We spent ten years building all these fancy dashboards and bots, and now we're acting shocked that a dry erase marker can do the same job. Honestly, the only reason that board worked is probably because their team actually looked at it, unlike the 47 Slack channels nobody reads. Next thing you know, someone will invent this crazy thing called a "meeting" where you all stand in a room and talk out loud. Groundbreaking stuff.
