PSA: Our old way of handling customer data syncs was a total mess

We used to run manual CSV exports from our CRM and upload them to our email platform every single Friday. It took about three hours each week and we always had data mismatches. After a big client complaint in January, we switched to using a native integration tool called Zapier to sync the data in real time. Now the process is fully automated and takes zero manual work. Has anyone else moved from manual data pushes to automated syncs and what tool did you pick?

Our manual syncs still work fine for our small team.

Ever been the one who forgot to hit send? That frantic feeling is why manual stuff breaks down. It's not about if it works now, it's about when the first big mistake happens. Trusting memory for important work is just asking for trouble later.

Manual syncs are fine until someone forgets to hit send and the whole project plan is a week out of date. Been there, done that, got the frantic 2 a.m. email to prove it. Enjoy the simple life while it lasts, because that scale-up hits hard.
