Paid a marketing agency $2,500 and got a brochure instead of a plan
Sat through a 40 minute call with a firm out of Denver last week, they handed us a glossy PDF with buzzwords but zero mention of our actual customer base or the pipeline gap we told them about. I think most agencies sell you a template and call it strategy, has anyone else seen this or am I just picking bad partners?
Most agencies sell you a template" is kind of the deal though, they don't know your customers like you do. Maybe the brochure was just the starting point and you bailed before the actual work started.
