Shoutout to the guy who told me to stop cold calling

A friend who runs a marketing agency in Phoenix said I was wasting my time with cold calls for my B2B software service. He pushed me to try LinkedIn outreach instead, focusing on sharing case studies. I switched over about three months ago and just landed a client worth $8k from a single connection. My pipeline is actually full for the first time. Anyone else find a specific platform works way better than old school calls for their service?

Yeah, I had the same thing happen with cold emails. Switched to just posting short video case studies on LinkedIn and it completely changed the game for me. The right people just started coming to me instead.

Ever notice how the best way to sell something has totally flipped? It used to be all about pushing your message out to anyone who would listen. Now it feels like the real trick is just being findable by the right people when they're looking. Your post is a perfect example of that shift. You stopped chasing and just put your proof where your buyers already are. Makes me wonder what other old school business habits are just noise now.
