Built a 4x8 raised bed from scratch and counted 63 screws when I was done
I figured it would take maybe 30, but between the corner braces and the slats for the trellis it just kept adding up. Now I'm wondering if I went overboard on fasteners or if that's just normal for a bed this size, how many do you all usually burn through on a build like this?

That's just normal for a bed this size, honestly. Corner braces alone can eat 20 screws and the trellis slats add a bunch more. Nobody ever regrets building it too solid.
