Question about The Room's box office numbers and why I think that's a good thing
Honestly I was looking up The Room on Box Office Mojo and saw it only made $1,800 in its original 2003 run at the Fallbrook Theater in LA. Everyone acts like Tommy Wiseau failed, but tbh that tiny number is exactly why it became a midnight legend. If it had been a normal hit nobody would still be throwing spoons at screens in 2024. Has anyone else found a bad movie stat that made you rethink what failure even means?
