Sat through Manos: The Hands of Fate with friends, ended up quoting it for a month
Went in expecting a laugh at the puppets and the weird cop, but the real kicker was how dead serious everyone acted. The director's commentary track on the DVD makes it even better, turns out he thought he was making a horror classic. We tried to count the continuity errors, lost track around 47 by the halfway mark. The Torgo theme song got stuck in my head for three straight days, not complaining though. My buddy started doing the Torgo walk at work, got written up for distracting the warehouse crew. Now I'm hunting for more movies where the people behind it clearly had zero idea what they made. Anyone else find a bad movie that somehow became a bigger joke than the movie itself?
