Serious question, why does everyone praise The Room but ignore Birdemic?
I sat through The Room at a friend's place in Denver two months ago and laughed maybe twice because it felt like a big inside joke I was not part of. Then I put on Birdemic a few nights later and I was on the floor when the coat hangers started attacking people and the same five seconds of footage played on a loop. The Room gets sold as the gold standard, but Birdemic does not care about being liked at all and that is what makes it work. I think people praise The Room because it is easy to quote, not because it is actually the most fun to watch. What is the one bad movie you think gets way too much praise for the wrong reasons?
