TIL that sitting through all 94 minutes of Birdemic on hard mode takes 6 hours
Honestly I need to warn people in here before anyone else falls into this trap like I did last Saturday. My cousin bet me 50 bucks I could not watch the entire movie with subtitles on and take a shot of water every time someone says "their coming" wrong, and I figured easy money, it is only 94 minutes. It took me 6 hours and 12 minutes because I kept having to pause and rewind to make sure I heard the line right, and at one point around the 40 minute mark my roommate came in and asked if I was okay because I was just staring at the wall. The sound mixing is so bad that half the dialogue sounds like it is coming through a drive thru speaker, and the birds are clearly just GIFs pasted over the frame by someone learning the software that same week. I also lost the bet because I tapped out at 71 minutes when the same five second clip of a bird dive bombing played for the fourth time in a row. If anyone here has tried a drinking game with a movie like this, what is the one that actually broke you, because I am not doing that again any time soon.
